the branches hold them firm , like jealous lovers
the trees sway with gentle movements of a forgotten dance
nature partakes in wild romance
i scuttle and i scurry from little nooks to little crannies,i question and i lament about a world full of resentment,i seek and hope to find the little light thats meant to shine and from the cracks beneath the door i make my way across the floor.
Yes. Romance is everywhere.

Amen. We often take for granted the beauty that envelopes us. We should, at least once a day, take a deep breath and bear witness to the beauty that surrounds us.
ReplyDeleteHey Kees, It's Willow. I just discovered your blog via facebook. What a beautiful poem. I hope you are appreciating the beauty around us everyday. I try to, but some days are harder than others... It's fall here now and leaves are just starting to fall.
